Armourist Auto Service FAQs

  • How do I know which service is right for my vehicle?

It really comes down to what bugs you most and how you use your ride. If you want easier washes and deep gloss, ceramic coating is a great fit. If you’re worried about rock chips and road rash, gloss, matte, or color Paint Protection Film (PPF) is the way to go. If your paint already looks rough or swirled, paint correction should come first. And if you want a cooler, more private cabin, window tint is your best friend.

  • Can I combine services, like PPF and ceramic coating or tint and coating?

Absolutely. A lot of customers layer services to get the most out of their protection. Paint correction gets the finish looking right, PPF takes the hits from debris, ceramic coating adds slickness and gloss, and window tint cuts heat and glare. We’ll walk you through what pairs well together and help you build a package that fits your budget and goals.

  • How long will you need my vehicle for these services?

Timing depends on what we’re doing and the condition of the vehicle when it comes in. Window tint might be a same day job, while paint correction and ceramic coating usually take longer. Full PPF or color PPF can take multiple days, especially on larger vehicles. We’ll look everything over in person, talk about your schedule, and set clear expectations before we start.

  • How is pricing figured out for ceramic coating, PPF, tint, and paint correction?

Pricing is based on the size of your vehicle, the products we’re using, and how much prep work is needed to do the job right. A small car with light correction and basic coverage will cost less than a large truck with heavy correction and full body PPF. The best way to get real numbers is to reach out for a custom quote so we can match the service to your vehicle and your budget.

  • What should I do before I drop my vehicle off?

If you can, empty personal items out of the cabin and bed so we have room to work. You don’t have to show up with a perfectly clean vehicle, but knocking off heavy dirt or mud helps. We handle the real prep and cleaning as part of services like paint correction, ceramic coating, PPF, and tint. When you book, we can go over any extra tips so drop off is simple and stress free.
